Detailed specification about this vacancy opportunity please read the description below. We are seeking a dynamic Project Manager to join our team. Along with the lead creative, the Project Manager will be the fa! ce of the company. This position provides leadership of projects from inception to completion and works to maintain a healthy client relationship throughout the course of the project. Project types include websites, environmental graphics, identity design, and full-scale branding and communications systems. A Project Manager brings with them a network of resources. Some business development responsibilities may also be required as this position allows for the growth of the company through successful client relationships.
Primary responsibilities:
- Collaborate with New Business team in preparing proposals and budgets
- Develop strategy in close cooperation with creative staff & client to ensure projects meet their objective
- Lead the development and implementation of projects
- Take the lead in managing the client relationship and proactively identifying additional needed initiatives
- Maintain profitability
- L! ead & document creative process through interviews, team sessi! ons, research or other means
- Lead effective client & team meetings
- Maintain a positive working environment for both client and team members
- Grow the business through great client relationships
- May be asked to take on additional internal projects including projects for one or more of the following categories: new business, public relations, company website, proposal system, project documentation, interviews and hiring of potential team members and freelancers.
BA degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, English or Business/Management is required. A graduate degree is helpful.
Experience:
- 3-5 years in a creative field with increasingly challenging positions managing projects for a varied clientele
- Must have experience with web production, as almost all projects include some digital component
- Macintosh! literacy required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Keynote and Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign & Acrobat) is required
- Supervisory experience and strong business and financial skills are required.
- Impeccable communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage and interact with many personality types â€" from designers, lawyers, CEOs and everything in between
- Thorough knowledge of branding & design process
- Ability to present and “sell†concepts and ideas to clients
- Strategist
- Highly organized and attentive to detail
- Optimistic, personable, confident, collaborative and analytical
- Team player, willingness to jump in where needed
