International financial firms seeks an AVP or VP level compliance officer with Japanese skills
Responsibilities:
- Compliance; develop compliance rules and process, procedures, and manuals, train employees in compliance related areas, search for rules and regulations, email monitoring, organize compliance committee meetings , and other compliance related matters.
- Deal with Regulators and prepare forms required for business operation
- Report /communicate with the head office
- Review legal documentations, liaison to the outside legal professionals/firms
- Other ad-hoc matters
Successful candidate should have compliance/legal exp. preferably in financial firms. Strong communications both in English and Japanese is required
Education:
Law degree or Attorney License a plus.
