Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Compliance Consultant for a contract assignment with one of our premier financial industry clients in NYC.
Responsibilities:
Review and update compliance training program content
Draft and update policies and procedures
Communicate and work with policy owners/subject matter experts
Research and apply applicable laws and regulations, with respect to both policy/procedure drafting and training updates
Review news and regulatory sources to identify developments that are relevant. Prepare written summaries.
Assist with PowerPoint presentations
Provide logistical support with respect to various Compliance Training events, including annual compliance awards, webinars, staff offsite and other programs
Ability to roll-up sleeves is critical
Ability to write accurately and succinctly is critical
Requirements:
Banking and/or securities experience is a must
Knowledge of laws and regulations around compliance
Excellent knowledge of Word
Excellent writing skills
Good knowledge of PowerPoint
Good knowledge of Excel
Attorney preferred
