Temporary Associate Attorney position available for an attorney with at least five years experience to replace an associate that will be out on maternity leave beginning March 2014 and returning approximately three months later. There is potential permanent placement available with this attorney position. This attorney position is available at a well-respected, well-known expanding mult! i-state insurance/negligence defense firm's Long Island office located in Huntington Village, New York. Applicants should have at least five years relevant experience, including significant experience conducting depositions, preparing motions, and performing research.
Applicants should also have strong verbal and written communication skills, and be prepared to handle a caseload of files, including premises liability, auto, possible labor law, and other general negligence cases for various clients. The firm is seeking a smart, confident, well-rounded individual that is motivated, has experience, common sense, professionalism, good critical/analytical skills, and someone that can multi-task.
