Total Compensation: $125,000-$175,000 depending on experience (Salaried position)

To manage the Firm’s financial and accounting policies, systems and process! es.
Skills and Qualifications :
Strong org! anizational skills a must; ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment; strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be reliable, a fast learner, self-motivated and a team player. Must have great “people skills†and present as professional and well-kept at all times. Candidate should have some background in a professional services company (preferably a law firm) and knowledge of how billing software interfaces with accounting software. Management and accounting experience required. Expertise in Microsoft Office is also required and experience with JURIS is a plus.
Duties :
Responsibilities include management of daily/weekly cash reports, bank accounts, and banking websites. Overseeing A/P, A/R & WIP, biweekly payroll, bank account reconciliation, G/L account reconciliation, tax filings (Quarterly UBT, MCTMT, Commercial Rent and NY Sales & Use Tax). The candidate will also manage Equity Partner distributions ! and wages and calculate quarterly Equity Partner tax distributions. Other responsibilities include credit line management/reporting, budget preparation and maintenance, financial reporting, weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting, profitability reporting, monthly/quarterly projections, JURIS maintenance and troubleshooting.
