Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Draft and negotiate broad variety of vendor agreements, including telecom contracts, software licenses, technology contracts, professional services agreements and business development agreements
Monitor legal compliance with contracts
Provide legal guidance to internal clients on a broad range of legal matters, primarily related to hardware/software/IT agreements.
May also assist in other legal department matters as needed (such as acquisition activity, corporate governance, intellectual property, employee issues and disputes/litigation)
Ideal candidate should be an Attorney who specia! lizes in technology contracts including hardware/software purc! hasing, licensing and servicing contracts, IT solutions development contracts, internet database and system hosting agreements, telecom agreements, SEO and other technology contracts. Candidate should understand PCI compliance and related issues, and have a strong technical understanding of internet systems.
3 plus years of general corporate experience (preferably in-house or with large law firm)
Candidate must have experience with Information Technology
Must have the ability to work independently, be a self-starter and handle a large volume of work
Be intelligent, organized, analytically minded and detail oriented
Generate new ideas; devise original and successful solutions
